Google announces Android M will be called Marshmallow

Over the weekend, Google teased a bunch of names for Android M in a short video teaser. Moments ago, it has finally revealed that the ‘M’ in Android M, is Marshmallow. This follows Google’s traditions to name Android versions after desserts, starting from the first version called Cupcake. This was followed by Donut, Éclair, Froyo, Gingerbread, Honeycomb, Ice Cream Sandwich, Jelly Bean, KitKat, Lollipop and now Marshmallow.
