Samsung Galaxy Note 8 to have 4K display and Bixby AI assistant

Samsung is reportedly working on its own voice-activated AI system, as we heard before. But to differentiate from Alexa, Cortana and Siri it will have a male voice and will be named Bixby.

We are expecting to hear from him (pun intended) in March when the Galaxy S8 is revealed but according to our source it will also be a crucial part of Galaxy Note 8. The phone, we now hear, is also going to have a UHD 4K resolution display which will be tremendous step ahead for an enhanced virtual reality experience.

The source also says that more information about Galaxy Note 8 will be available after the report Samsung is releasing later this month about the Note 7 fires.

It is rumored that the cause wasnt a battery issue but an electronic hardware design problem.

  1. I guess the other hardware issue they’re referring for the Note 7 explods is the Iris scanner. I might be wrong but I’m not.

  2. Samsung over doing it yet again. WHy oh why do they think we need 4K screens on something this size?? Battery life should be a priority & a 1080p screen is perfectly fine unless you want the pointless gimmick of virtual reality. Am tired of Samsung coming up with things we don’t need, how about innovation & better quality control??

What if you want to hook it up to a 4K monitor?. You can do presentations from it. You could be at a friend birthday party and 4K photo slideshow….

  6. Is n’t the name confusing? As there is already a Samsung Note 8 tablet, which was launched a few years ago.

  7. I remember a few months back Samsung CEO said that 4K in Smartphones is not possible until Late 2018 .
    According to a news .

  10. 1080p master race.

4k for vr is not a good enough reason for battery drain. mainstream consumers hardly use it regularly. and if they do, they would buy something like the htc vive.

  16. They will go ahead and call it Note8? A successor to a non existing Note7? I think they’d better call it Note7 “take 2″😂😄😆.
